Me
I love bringing big ideas to life that not only solve problems but make a meaningful difference for people and the world around us.
With over 15 years of experience in the digital and design space, I’m a Product Design Leader who thrives on solving business and customer challenges through thoughtful, human-centered design. My journey started back in 2007 as a UX/UI designer and front-end developer in Copenhagen, and since then, I’ve stretched my skills across the design world—from digital products to art direction.
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design from both Swinburne University in Melbourne and Denmark’s Design School in Copenhagen, along with an Advanced Diploma in Multimedia. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in multidisciplinary design studios where I developed my skills in UX strategy, information architecture, and content creation. Working with start-ups like Be Collective and Youli deepened my love for UX strategy and research, while my time at frankie magazine sparked my passion for art direction and opportunities in public speaking and panel discussions. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with big organisations like Coles Group and Cengage, where I sharpened my leadership, large-scale testing skills, and learned to think on my feet in fast-paced environments.
Spending years in Denmark left me with a strong appreciation for Scandinavian design—simple, functional, and beautiful. It’s a philosophy that I carry into every project I work on. Being a finalist for Designer of the Year in 2020 was a proud moment that reminded me why I love what I do.
I’m always up for new challenges, whether it’s contract work as a UX Designer specialising in strategy, research, and crafting beautiful UI, or freelance projects as an Art Director creating engaging digital and print content.
Outside work you’ll find me trying to sneak out of the house for a quick surf and then coming home to two little boys and my wife who fill my cup right up. Weekends we are usually outside adventuring to the bush or beach and hanging with friends. I also love pottery and spend any extra free time getting my elbows deep in clay.
